Well. I'm for unity if it's because comprehension caused it. If unity is a rush to judgement, this togetherness will be short lived because the realization of difference comprehension will explode into anger about what to do; and the intellectual void in the parties will enable the bad guys to reclaim influence at least rhetorically for the worst policies of both parties, translating to us, freedom-loving people, losing force in those parties that share libertarian ideals such as no war and no police state (dems) and property rights and the free market (repubs), although I believe the standard republican is ignorant what the free market is and often uses it interchangeably with capitalism.
I don't want to see unity for unity's sake. I want it for the right reason, because doing it for the right reason doesn't waste time and effort and backfire. So, we shall see.
School's fine. Just don't let it get in the way of thinking. -Me
