"The general rule is that an individual is an independent contractor if the payer has the right to control or direct only the result of the work and not what will be done and how it will be done. The earnings of a person who is working as an independent contractor are subject to Self-Employment Tax."

Read the rest at the link. If you work on-site and your time and work expected is managed by the business and if you don't own your own company, you're probably an employee, such as the McDonald's worker. Most younger people are going to be the most punished by these foolish work rules implemented by our imbecilic "leaders". No one benefits from this foolishness. Democrats will be driven out en masse by angry workers next voting chance.
