Too bad these bonus soldiers did not bring along some armed snipers; MacArthur and Patton would have made prized targets and sent a message to the military as to the cost of backing tyranny that would still resonate today.

MacArthur also let the entire air group of B-17s (35 in all) get blown up on the ground by refusing to honor the group commander's warnings.

No wonder, MacArthur's family was rich. He was a traitor, not only to the "Bonus Army" but to the airmen under his command.
