My claim..

..isn't that being a middle school teacher makes me the authority on everything, especially not 9/11. If you read what I wrote, I only included the point that I am a middle school teacher because I am currently in the middle of a Fallacy section with my students. For that reason, I am especially conscious of fallacies that are commonly used and what their specific names are. I wasn't braggin or trying to claim that my job makes me an authority, just that my current curriculum is specifically about fallacies so I'm hyper-sensetive to them when they are present. I didn't realize that me mentioning my profession was going to result in a cascade of insults to that profession. It wasn't intended to be some "I'm smarter than everyone" argument based on my job.

Free market capitalism isn't right for America because it works better. It's right because it's free (and it works better).
