Immigration

is not a problem. I am the product of individuals who came through Ellis Island, and it is what makes this country innovative. However, I am against all "illegal" immigration ie, people just crossing the borders and taking up residency.

Why? I have no clue who they are. Some could be violent criminals from another country running from the law etc.

I believe that people have natural rights where ever they may live, but don't believe America should have open borders where anyone can walk right on in. I don't care who they are, or what country they come from. If they want to be "American" they can go through the process that everyone's ancestors had to go through.

Also, thousands come here legally every year, and they had the gumption to do it the right way, while others walk right across the border? That does not seem right.

Illegal immigration is a national security issue in the making.
