I'd have responded that racking in $60,000 in debt a year for an 'ivy league' school does not give the average student a real return on their investment.
Be smart. Pay for school only what its worth. Which is the knowledge you gain for the job it can get you.
If you look at school as an investment first, and not an 'experience' first you will start in a better place.
