However, ALL studies which have tried to find a direct link between meat and heart disease have actually shown the opposite: All other things considered, an increase in meat consumption is protective against heart disease.
The average vegetarian who avoids meat is generally health conscious about other things as well, while those who eat meat are more likely to not give a damn about "dietary guidelines" and consume a lot of junk. Does that mean that meat causes illness? Of course not, but vegetarians and vegans love to spin that data as if it did.
Your mistaken opinions are based on research which was already outdated in the 1990s. It's time to reacquaint yourself with the current research.
