I live in deep South Texas. As far south as you can get without

being in Mexico. The first person to die in this country from "Africanized" bees was in the town I live. Two to three miles away from my house. I have called every single beekeeper in the area I could find. If there is someone who keeps bees as a hobby, I would not know. My uncle did, but he died a long time ago, and got rid of his bees because of the potential for lawsuits. I was going to get a box myself and learn how to do it, but the lawsuit thing again. This place is known as "Lawsuit Hell". Lawsuits are an industry down here as businesses that move into the area soon discover (hello SpaceX) Someone gets hurt, especially a child, I lose everything. And I do mean everything.

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.
