I Met Almond Growers In California,

That had spent a lot of money buying boxes of Honey bees for themselves.

It just didn't work out economically for them because bees need to saturate Almond orchards for good pollination, and after the Almond season {Feb/March} they need good bee forage areas to reproduce and store Honey for their future survival, with fuel prices at about $4 per gallon and at 4-5 miles per gallon average on big truck milage expense to good forage areas, think about the cost. ??
