There is strong suspicion that bras cause breast cancer. A study that showed it was "debunked"
"According to critics, however, the bra-caused breast cancer theory is not supported by sufficient evidence. Scientists say the research of Singer and Grismaijer failed to exclude confounding variables such as the presence in some women of known risk factors for breast cancer. Thus, the notion of a correlation between wearing a bra and breast cancer does not appear to hold up."
However, statistics tell interesting stories. You would think the most developed countries would have the best success in fighting breast cancer, they have all the modern medicine tests, drugs, surgeries, are the most educated in prevention and self-exam for early detection.... So why this?
"Breast cancer incidence and mortality rates remain highest in developed countries compared with developing countries..."
What do developed countries have that developing countries lack? Bras on the women.
