I normally sit back and read posts and comments and rarely partake.
But this one I will dive into.
My thoughts on the whole thing, including the death penalty is that no person is a reprobate and all are possible to be saved by God's grace. It is not our decision to kill these people. We can make their lives harder for the decisions they have made, but not our decision to take them out of this world before their time.
When it says to love your enemy, it doesn't mean that they can do what they want and can be treated as an equal. It means we should want salvation for them and for them to be better.
