I first saw this book on the top shelf of a hand made bookshelf in an Amish home. I had never heard of the book before so when I got home I looked it up. I am intrigued by this book published in the 1600's.
I think also of these words said by Jesus:
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
There are many who name the name of Christ who are not known by Him. There are many wolves in sheeps clothing and many tares that grow up with the wheat.
The Bible says to: study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. II Timothy 2:15.
