Really?!

The tibia and fibula are clearly seen sticking out in front of him in the wheelchair. The bones below that, that form the foot and ankle,(calcareous and talus and more distal bones) appear to be missing.

What a horrible injury! He looked like death warmed over in the wheelchair! He had excellent medical care, from bystanders!! How can I judge that? I taught gross anatomy lab, as a graduate student, to medical students! The next year I was in the class!

In the future, I found out that my increased education and knowledge resulted in other doctors saying "You act like you know more than us!" Facts were, I should have! They were doctors who only had one year internships! Too bad I did not think of that when sitting in the witness chair! I was told they did not want doctors practicing cutting edge surgical care in a 50 bed hospital!!
