Gee, I thought the Republican Party favored small government and

low taxes. I suppose that is just a slogan; pablum for the masses.

With the economy on the rocks, these brilliant senators now want to destroy small retailers by burdening them with added cost and regulations to collect taxes for states. I am sure the retail giants love this bill because it helps eliminate their competition.

As with most government, it is a matter of the individual bending over and grabbing his ankles. This is just another measure to feed the spendthrift government sector at the expense of the productive public. More taxes equals less freedom and more economic destruction.

Oh well. Looks like we are one step closer to revolution and rolling out the guillotines.

When you are ruled by an aristocracy for the benefit of the aristocracy, what else would you expect but more for them and less for you.

"Bend over and grab your ankles" should be etched in stone at the entrance to every government building and every government office.
