Choosing my words carefully... not indicative of walking on eggshells. I'm not perfect by any stretch of the word, but I try to be consistent and honest in my approach. I also try to avoid ad hominem attacks, and I try to be cordial at all times. Some people like to be aggressive, and that's fine. I'm naturally aggressive in my debating style, and I'm consciously trying to change that, as I've found I've had more success killing people with kindness and with a positive mental attitude than proving how wrong they are.

I'm not going to take a position which I haven't carefully scrutinized nor which I can't back up with compelling evidence. I've been there before, and I don't want to go back.

I'm EXTREMELY skeptical, and I question nearly everything. A lot of my friends and family rely on me for information whether they admit it or not. They're always interested in my opinions on things. If I pass them bad information, then how am I helping our cause? Would I then be part of the problem? Wouldn't I then lose all the credibility I've built up with them?

Do you really think I'd succumb to the thought police? I'm not one to remain silent. All you'd have to do is review my previous posts and comments to verify this.

Who am I apologizing to, and where do you get the idea that my chin is on the ground Vince? I did apologize to fishy in another thread for using the word "dammit", but I'm not sure what you're referring to here.
