extrinsic value, maybe

Facebook started as just code, or 1's and 0's...once someone arranged them into a social networking site they developed "extrinsic" value.

Extrinsic value is the portion of an item's worth that is assigned to it by external factors. The opposite of extrinsic value is intrinsic value, which is the inherent worth of an item.

Outside of our ridiculous laws, anyone could replicate facebook a million times over rendering it worthless...hence, no intrinsic value, like FRN's.

I'd rather have a bottle in front o' me than a frontal lobotomy
