In reply to comment: getting high IS NOT a sin (see in situ)

Ephesians 5:18
And do not get drunk with wine, which is debauchery, but be filled by the Spirit,

Getting drunk is a sin, as Patriot said and as the Bible says, it leads to, or is debauchery and I would say getting high is in a similar vein. Making your moral senses dead, removing inhibitions making it easier to sin.

I don't KNOW who is and who is definitely not a Christian, but if a person sees that God says something is evil and denies it and says, "no no no, I don't think that's wrong even if God says it is." That definitely makes you question them. But people are complex and we all sin, sinner and saved alike. Most denominations, Methodist, Episcopal, Catholic, etc. teach a Gospel that goes something like this, "be as good as you can, God will forgive the rest." That is not the Gospel. There is no Jesus in that gospel and without Christ in the Gospel, you're not a Christian. Most people who attend or avoid the denominations I mention simply can't be Christians, but get polled as if they were. So you'll get results like this.

You're also misquoting Genesis, he didn't give us all green plants to "use". Read it again. Peace.
