I don't think there is a single developed country that doesn't have US involvement via military and/or drones.

You say you don't want to trade liberty for security, but that isn't that what goverment is doing?

On a more serious note, Singapore and Hong Kong might be nice places to life. Some parts of life are heavily controlled by government, but relatively low taxes and a lot of freedom in business matters. Singapore has both the biggest and smallest government, as the government taxes at a low rate and will rarely interfere in your life. But commit a crime, and the super-tough justice system will show you no mercy.
