I second that motion

Why don't you just address the question Dave? This isn't about me or anything I have said it is about the notes that James Madison took at the constitutional convention. Is there a reason you are so reluctant to respond to James Madison's notes on the proceedings of the constitutional convention, specifically the part where he stated that the motion to strike the emit bills clause "...cut off the pretext for a paper currency, and particularly for making the bills a tender for public or private debts"?
