Interesting. That mostly depends on your definition of the word "conservative." That is one of those words which I call "fuzzy words"; they're words in common usage that many people define differently. I think the most common definition of "conservative" in an American political context is of those who support big military, traditional values, and smaller everything else. Or in other words, spending is only one part of the conservative equation. I agree that a lot of conservatives (like Limbaugh or Santorum) are fake, but only because some of the beliefs associate with conservatism are not always logically consistent. I still think those fakers fit into the broader spectrum of what is usually defined as conservative.
