Comment: Why should it be announced?

(See in situ)

Why should it be announced?

Should heterosexuals do the same? Let's have press conferences with people sharing their intimate encounters with the world. Rather uncomfortable, don't you think?

Why is it categorically special and something the general public should care about? It is a private thing that should stay private. I don't want to know what people do when they have intimate contact with another - I REALLY don't care and I really don't appreciate having it shoved in my face constantly. And I do not see any reason such an announcement should garner anyone special privileges or treatment.

Keep it to yourself.

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.
