I don't need to disprove their existence. You (or the inventors) have to prove their existence. They must not only provide the product, but the proof. That no patents have been issued for these non-functional devices is proof they are not science-fiction/fantasy contraptions.

I do, as a matter of fact, know from personal experience that sometimes the government will attempt to shut down a patent due to "national security" concerns.
