I didn't like avatar because it was anti-human and ridiculous and here is why.

The main character kills his human self. He kills his human body and "copies" his mind into the new *spoiler* body.

Your soul and your body are one. Your genetic DNA are what make you and your cells make the brain that make your thoughts. Simply copying your brain patterns of electrical pulses from your human brain an placing them into a clone or another species brain doesn't mean you have survived - it's no different from me writing down your thoughts after you recite them to me, it's just a more detailed fashion.

So it's ridiculous because the main character kills himself, his body and cells. There isn't even a direct copy of his cells or an offspring to carry on his DNA into the future. The aliens species wins, they convince the human to kill himself and they and get a clone with human knowledge....

AND NOBODY SAYS F*CK ABOUT THIS BASIC LOGIC.
