Comment: So if

So if

The government ends the drug war is that allowing a free for all of drug use for minors against their parents wishes, too?

Do you look at a 15yo's ability to buy condoms this same way? If not, why not?

And you totally lost me with the statutory rape should be prosecuted comment... are we talking about two consensually sexually active teenagers of approximately the same age here? I have 4 daughters, my oldest is 13, and I can not imagine pressing charges against a boy she was in a relationship with and had consensual sex with unless there was more to it than that. Teenagers have been having sex against their parents wishes for centuries ... if every parent pressed charges for statutory rape most males would be considered sex offenders. I wouldn't be happy, but I'm not going to ruin a kids entire life by making him a sex offender unless it is rape in the true sense of the word.

I'm not saying that this should be sold to young girls and I would have no problem with it having an 18 year age limit... I believe that would be more appropriate, I just don't really get all the fuss from libertarians especially. I think this is just being used to divide and distract us from something else. I also think it's possible that the judge being Catholic may have something to do with his position on this issue.
