(See in situ)

yup. no bigs.

I've been absent from DP for a wee bit after the RP2012 election cycle, and suddenly DP, where paleoconservatives/constitutionalists/libertarians/minarchists/ancaps all got along beautifully, somehow, somewhere a couple of noobs infiltrated and started inciting all this 'purge' nonsense!

Guess a glimmer of it all began immediately following the Rand-pocalypse/Mutt WRONGney endorsement where Jack Hunter/Austin Petersen set wanted to cozy up to the Glenn Becks of the world, desperately trying to convince us that the same a-holes who called Ron Paul supporters terrorists who should be sent to GitMo is now a 'libertarian,' to Gary Johnson vs. write-in RP fight, to RINOs inciting paleoconservatives vs. libertarians, to later supposed minarchist Constitutionalists wanting to purge all AnCaps, to now, post Boston, 'purge all Truthers,' when the very 1st place I ever heard of Dr. Paul was in 2004 on the Alex Jones show/Documentary on NAU(I think, could've been a clip of in one of AJ's "Police State"-docu series), and we initially made up about 60% of RP2008 base.

It's like a Kafkaesque Twilight Zone.

And now, I feel ridiculous having to explain to someone who actually thinks that factually proven on FBI-payroll COINTELPRO 'Blac Block Anarchist' agent provocateurs are in the same class as Tom Woods and Lew Rockwell anarcho-capitalists!!!

It's a bizzaro world. C'est la vie: can't fix stupid. No?

Well, here's what Cody ACTUALLY said in AJ interview: the commeneter merely heard Cody say the word "anarchist" while referring to "Post-Marxist experience" and his brains shut down, not even recognizing that like "Art Deco" "Modernist" "Post Modernist" whether one likes it or not, within 'intelligentsia'/academician circles they equally label philosophy and attempt to box them into epochs/eras/periods, etc., like those art movements/'periods.'

So, the "Post-Marxist" era in context of the conversation was in reference to the French Post-structuralists, because Cody talked about Michel Foucault, a French philosopher/social theorist, earlier, in the conversation.

What's more hilarious?

The commenter probably took to hearing "social theorist," a field of liberal arts study, as 'socialist theorist,' one with a particular ideological bent. LOLOLOL!!!

I suppose if there actually were two sane people, both with similar range of knowledge, and of similar historical philosophic context discernment skills looking at this, I'd posit that there is almost no way in hell, that they would EVER confuse the following discussion, between Alex Jones and Cody.

But, apparently, some here are utterly confused by it, or simply a-priori don't give a crap, and their mind's permanently made up and closed off, and actually do not know that Tom Woods, a market-anarchist (Anarcho-Capitalist, "AnCap"), is NOT like a FBI COINTELPRO 'black bloc [pseudo-] anarchist/anarcho-communists.'

It's like if one has to explain to a Daily Paul member that a Paleo-Conservative is NOT a Neo-Conservative, how much further conversation can you actually have?

Oy veh!

If anyone want to see more background info on the French authors/philosophers and the intellectual movements and the context of which they were involved, in reference to the AJ's Cody interview, you can look at more links and references, from my previous post/reply, here:

Below is exactly how the conversation between Alex Jones and Cody Wilson transpired, that prompted the poster to ridiculously, baselessly, laughably, accuse Cody of being a "Marxist."

Printable 3D Gun Creator Meets Alex Jones
Published on Mar 20, 2013

Alex welcomes crypto-anarchist and law student Cody Wilson who developed and published open source gun designs suitable for 3D printing. Cody will join Alex in-studio.

The specific purposes for which this corporation is organized are: To defend the civil liberty of popular access to arms as guaranteed by the United States Constitution and affirmed by the United States Supreme Court, through facilitating global access to, and the collaborative production of, information and knowledge related to the 3D printing of arms; and to publish and distribute, at no cost to the public, such information and knowledge in promotion of the public interest.

Cody's educational and philosophic background story discussion start around 10:30, but the relevant portion to his "Marxist" accusation start around 10:52 mark:

AJ: Who are your political Heroes? I mean, what woke you up?

CW: Ha ha ha. I like Camus**, man. I like... Michel Foucault I like...ah...French Social Theorists; the people that aren't typically named by Americans, I guess.

But ah...I like people who..who just tried to radicalize [as in: of or pertaining to the root of a word or matter] students and conservatives and say: 'You know what? Things are about liberty. They're not about politics. They're not about Democrats...

AJ: I agree.

CW: (Continuing) ...and Republicans. It's about Liberty.' And...

AJ: It's about 'Are you for freedom, or are you not?'

CW: Yes, 'are you gonna resist? or...'

(interrupt, overtalk)

AJ: They want to make it about 'Left' and 'Right' to confuse it and muddle it.

CW: Precisely, so...I'm an anarchist [Cody can't get any more clearer than that!] and the anarchist tradition is something I read a lot about, lately. So, you 'could say' anarchism is the school that I subscribe to. But, I believe that, that's a very rich school and a neglected school, ESPECIALLY POST-Marxist experience.

There's a lot of cool things happening in the world on the internet, right now, that''re gonna make Marxism *scoffs* not irrelevant, but anarchism VERY RELEVANT.

AJ: Well, I mean as you know Marx and others actually talked about total manufacturing, you know private factories and how that would empower everybody, but the Globalists have actually used it, as a way to control the means of production, with the cheap production, but then have...sell our souls for baubels...and so they've kinda reversed that whole paradigm.

CW: This is the problem with "Progressivism," which tries to identify itself as "Leftist." And, I don't think it is! Because all they love is MONOPOLY capitalism; they say: 'Well, we're all about "equality"...but let's control it with corporations and the govt!'

You know...right? It's RIDICULOUS to me! You know, so I think in many meaningful ways, I'm a REAL 'Leftist' [Classical Liberal, ie. libertarian in contemporary parlance], and these "Progressives" aren't, and these "Liberals" aren't! They're all...N..Neither parties in America challenges...

AJ: Well...a [Classical] "liberal" would want the individual to be totally empowered. Instead, these people are the opposite; they're more like Borg, or space aliens.

CW: Right! They [the fake liberals/Progressives/Marxists/Socialists/Statists] believe: 'I can empower you the empowering you at the end of a barrel of some institutional gun.'

(Cody, now fingering a 'gun gesture,' jokingly) You know: 'you're gonna be, you're gonna be "equal," or else!' LOL Ha ha ha! You know?

AJ: (agreeing) But then, they don't; all they create is division: turn on MSNBC.

CW: Yeah, it's's lazy moralisms disguised as meaningful politics.

AJ: Exactly! They 'claim' they're all these nice thing, when they're monsters.

CW: Yeah for...probable... Well, and they believe: 'Well, the most efficient way we can get things done, is to uh...centralize power, and force you to do things!'

Because it's just ah... it's just...(gesturing like a God's hand is throwing candies down to the humans below) Socialism from above. You know?
