this was why i asked

the treaty of Tripoli...
As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion,—as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen [Muslims],—and as the said States never entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mahometan [Mohammedan] nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.
but by gods chosen people,i meant gods own words from the bible, calling the israelites who are called by his name
we are grafted into the vine as the bible says, but according to the
word the original 12 tribes are to be priests of the world.for a total of 144,000 set apart and holy
while it is true,i do not know all god does, nor can think totally like he does, but i see no chastisement of them, accept for what has
been already recorded in the book
it just struck me as odd to read how america was being chastised at this point in time, when the true nation, who is called by his name,is not, that is as far as i can see,but he could be setting them up by letting alone and apart from him
i will add, thank you for answering, questions here don't seem to go over to well, most anymore just down vote, and not answer
everytime i see happen, i ask myself"how can one learn if no one answers",then i do get a bit irritated by it

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence
