A few factoids:
1) although quantum computers have been discussed at length for over a decade, they are exceedingly sensitive to environment "noise" and decoherence;
2) qbits have only been been entangled for about 90 miles (current world record)
3) creating a network of computers (intranet) operating on quantum principles (transmission of qbits, or quantum computers, or both) *does not mean* it is an "internet" or that it would compete/replace The Internet
Quantum computers and qbits are fascinating, but are still a technology in infancy.
