Three teenage girls kidnapped and held hostage by three brothers, at least one of the girls impregnated during their captivity.
I'm reminded of the movie "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers".
That's the one where the seven sons of a motherless pioneer family, inspired by reading the Rape of the Sabines, kidnap seven young women to their family holding at the start of winter (triggering an avalanche to block pursuit until spring). They end up with seven love affairs, then seven shotgun weddings rather than seven hangings, thanks to a baby born about the time the townsfolk make it through the pass in the spring and every one of the girls claiming it's hers.
It struck me as extremely unrealistic at the time. I wonder if the three brothers were similarly inspired by this Hollywood fantasy.

That means: For each job "created or saved" about five were destroyed.
