That's crazy. I mean... how the hell did they let these people stay in these positions for so long after these serious incidents? 6 years later they get rid of them?? I know the air force can be pretty lax as far as punishment goes compared to army and marines but this is nuts. It took this long to investigate who was at fault? Even if they took everyone who was at the base and retrained them after the incidents (and obviously we don't have all of the details here) they should've immediately took all of the people who had access or were in charge of the access, maintenance, and all other aspects to these weapons and had a sit down with each and every individual and took airmen with the clearance and training from other bases and put them on this base.
