but it is like a lot of things - prepping for survival can be the best living you ever do.
Go buy a book on edible plants and go take the kids to the woods this weekend. Not exactly "prepping", but prepping none the less.
Try to build a fire without matches or a magnesium bar next weekend(and the next and the next - cause it isnt easy). Not exactly prepping -but prepping none the less.
Try to find water where it seems there is none. Do a solar still. Try to boil water without a pot.
Build a trap, a dead fall or something to try to catch a mouse or a rodent(traps and such are illegal in many states, dont go announcing).
As for me - I worry not about myself - hell I think I might actually enjoy living like that. It is those who put there trust in me for safety that I worry about - my wife and my kids. I prep for them, not me.
