Unfortunately, it seems that wherever we find human "community," we are always going to find a certain level of division, sense of "other" and discreet or not-so-discreet forms of censorship or control by those who can. Even in "community" where freedom and liberty are touted, ironically. Courage and tolerance are found in such varying degrees on the spectrum and subjective relation to fear and pressure will fluctuate depending on who's "in charge" and who is "squeaking" at any given time. But this is the human experience and we will just need to keep trying to overcome those tendencies and keep evolving. Keep challenging, debating, listening, messing up, admitting mistakes, trying some more. Seems like some of the fear-based conspiracy haters squeaked and got oiled this time. So be it.
