I remember that, BT...

they left the gun shop and were getting back into the pickup when the gun discharged. What the hell is wrong with people? Has everyone got the attention span of a guppy suddenly? Firstly, you CANNOT enter a gun store with a loaded weapon, Secondly I don't believe that guns just "go off". The trigger was pulled, somehow...and in my opinion, that's just plain careless. Don't get me wrong, I feel awful for that man just as I do the woman in the OP story...neither intentionally meant to kill, and they'll have to live with that everyday..to have the sight and sounds in your mind forever..not something I'd like to live with...but, it was a careless action of both of their parts that created these situations. Very sad, indeed.
