Saying that those in power "invoked Christianity is to get the support of their base and the American people" and then saying "but US invasion had nothing to do with Christianity" is completely incongruous. How can you even type that without deleting?
You can try to deny that our killing of millions of innocents and children in the Middle East over the last 20 years, as well as the unbridled support for the genocide of the Palestinians by our Jewish cousins, is connected from the fact that we live in the most religious nation on Earth and overwhelmingly Christian. You can try.... But there is no way to do it.
You said: "They are bad people who manipulate the innocent and ignorant for their own power-driven ambitions." If a person is easily manipulated to support the unwarranted aggression and killing of children, they are not "innocent". They are are guilty of being an aide to murder. I could even make the argument that since the executive branch is working as an agent of the people that they are guilty of murder. Anyone who has voted for a Republican or Democrat for national office in the last 20 years is guilty.
"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain
