Re God's judgment: I don't really disagree with

what you've said there. I just don't see how you get from: "if we were all angels [so to speak], we wouldn't need laws" to: "big government itself is God's judgment." We have free will. That we need, want, or allow big government is what we've brought on *ourselves* for not being honest, kind, considerate, caring, forgiving, etc., and not being willing and/or able to acknowledge the interconnectedness of all things and the consequences of our actions in the short and long term... and expecting government to have the answer.

I believe that not government, per se, but progressives have done what they can to "undermine virtue, religion, and morality." It's what former Congressman Curtis Bowers' documentary Agenda is all about. Our local tea party showed it at libraries a couple years ago. I highly recommend it.
