Man, I love olympic lifting! I took a break from deads a few months ago to concentrate on the Clean&Jerk, and it's still my favorite lift. However, my gym doesn't have rubber plates or lifting platforms, so I've decided to stop doing them while I put together a lifting platform in my back yard and buy some bumper plates.
There's so many different "schools" not only for weighlifting, but fitness in general. It's awesome to experiment with them all. I firmly believe that EVERYTHING has it's place.
