bad analogy

The studies and stats on cigarette smoke are out there for all to see. GMOs don't have that same level of tranparency.
Cigarette companies were FORCED to expose themselves and list nocotine content etc. What you seem to be advocating for is all those facts and figures be scrubbed just as facts and figures about how much GMO is used in what we eat never be brought to the public's attention.
If information can NEVER be offered, how will anyone know anything? I have a right to know what's in my food. If no company complies, I'm just supposed to live with that? I have no recourse?
That's what you're saying - no recourse and no chance to know which food is GMO or not. I'm not happy we have to go to the govt to get that info, but with Monsanto et all using our court system and politicians to hide their nefarious actions, I want equal opportunity under the law to have those things exposed. You deny my right in favor of Big Corp/Agro with your talk.
