It is difficult but very important

because "those" people know that when their views are challenged (or exposed) they must mock you rather than make the case for their views. It's a very old yet effective tactic used to quickly discredit you if they can make you lose your cool. The Wedding was a perfect learning opportunity for you to see the difference in result when you were almost "forced" to remain respectful. But you can have that self control in any situation, wedding or not.

This state of calmness is how many of these "elites" got to the positions of success and power by standing firm in their convictions and never showing weakness of character. It's time to learn from them and use it to our advantage. Napoleon Hill's "Laws of Success" series (you can "find" audiobooks online) is a great source of information not only on how to succeed in your own life but also how these people of power got there themselves and why it is so important for them to form groups or clubs. Anyways, that's a topic for a different thread, but keep it up and keep calm and confident as you were!
