This sounds great in theory, letting them come to us, but it's also based on the assumption that government is going to suddenly implement nationwide martial law and round up dissenters all at once.
Have you considered that it might not go down like this? I mean honestly, they don't have the resources nor the manpower to pull something like that off, not yet anyway. Perhaps what's more likely is they'll continue to pick us off one at a time... starting with those they've already profiled as likely to kick up a fuss. Hell it's already happening. And once they're gone (you know, the people actually ready to do something), what then? You honestly expect the ones who were too scared to fight when the opportunity presented itself to now magically become superheroes? I think not.
Something people need to realize is that it's not going to get any easier to make a stand. It's just not - stop kidding yourselves. Look, I get that people are scared of being shot at or arrested or whatever, I really do. But if it happens, it will only be because you all let it. If we as a people just decided enough was enough already and stood together as one, there is no way they could stop us. Sadly no one wants to do that. No, they'd rather wait until it becomes so awful that people are hungry and dying in the street. I just don't get it man.
The world is already watching. I speak with foreigners all the time, and the number one question they ask me is what is wrong with our country where we continue to let these things happen, why we haven't rose up already. I wish I had an answer for them.

what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun.
