I am not sure if you make such comments out of anger

or blindness, but rest assured that not all government employees are there to do you harm as you wrongfully suggest. Are there power hungry idiots in government that use their power in ill-begotten ways, certainly, but the premise that all employees of the government have power over you is incorrect and dangerous at face value.

While you state: "Your expressed view of what government should employ people to do and my view of freedom are inconsistent." you are correct, as I am not an anarchist that has an illusion that government was created to destroy liberty, or do citizens harm, but I will agree that there are those in power using it in tyrannical fashion. My point is that the people that work at Parks and Rec are not evil, the 70 year old Librarian is not in on some plot to steal your savings, nor do most government employees wield any power over you, or to adjust their salaries to a ridiculous limit as you suggest. Government is and has been around since the founding of our nation, but your premise that everyone in government are working together in a grand conspiracy to end Liberty is not only incorrect, but irresponsible.

My entire premise can be summed up in a reply to this comment: "I remind you that government is force. Force by its very definition is violence." What force can you show that the guy mowing the local baseball field for the public park has over you? How about that janitor at the health department, is he in on it to, plotting to plunge your family to death? Or perhaps Mrs. James, the 70 year old Librarian attends the secret meetings to destroy Liberty and take what you have through the force of what, encyclopedia assault? These people go to work every day to make a living, and have zero say in their salaries, and they do not wield any force or power over you, and to suggest such is ridiculous.

Always remember:
"It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds." ~ Samuel Adams
If they hate us for our freedom, they must LOVE us now....
