randomness is not really necessary if you are talking about a brute force scenario...The most important password characteristic would be to have at least one of each: letter (upper & lower-case), number, and symbol.

After that length is the next most important attribute. However just because a password is long doesn't mean it needs to be hard to remember. you can use a technique such as 'padding' to keep a password easy to remember.

Example:

frog (terrible)
Fr0g (bad)
Fr0g. (not as bad)

../\/\/\Fr0g/\/\/\..
(this password will take approx. 1.09 million trillion centuries to crack)
