People should be able to defend themselves

If I poisoned your food without telling you and you ate it, as an individual, I would be liable.

If I can't poison you, why should a "corporation" be able to poison you without consequence?

First of all, corporations should not exist. There should be no government favor. The owners (or those in control of operations) of a business should be able to be held legally responsible for the harm inflicted by their products. The government sponsored status of "corporation" allows no such accountability.

Any government or government created entity should not be allowed to do anything an individual can't do - including serving pesticide tainted food to the public.
