You Keep Toe-tapping Around the Point

After several iterations on this topic it is obvious you have no historical proof the U.S.S. Liberty was inside the territorial waters of Israel when it was attacked. You keep sidetracking the issue but you cannot squirm away from the fact the Liberty was in international waters when Israel coordinated an air and sea assault to murder the crew and sink the ship.

The question as to why the Liberty was in the Mediterranean has been answered several times. The ship was on a surveillance mission, that's its primary purpose. It was the fourth day of the six-day war and the U.S. was monitoring the situation as a neutral party.

The question you should ask your Zionist compatriots is why did Israel commit an act of war upon its ally?
