The Civil Rights Movement

In the civil rights movement, our government still, for the most part, followed the restrictions imposed on it in the 4th Amendment. They certainly pretended to.

Now, they blatantly ignore it.

Whatever the risks to Rosa Parks and MLK's lives from brutal individuals, the system was still not going to impose a death penalty for misdemeanors or even felonies. They mostly had to fear bad apples.

Snowden lives at a time when you can be droned without trial by those same bad apples who have no restraints on them due to their positions of power. He knows he can be thrown in jail naked until trial, or sent somewhere never to be seen again.

Schieffer has zero credibility--he's completely blinded by fear.

What do you think?
