Nothing is permanent.

Nothing is permanent. Everything is in constant flux because individuals are self-interested. All that changes is whose interests are being served more at any particular time.

I fully expect the "all powerful" reach of government to lessen somewhat after this administration. If Rand Paul isn't elected, it will be another that presents an alternative to the overreach that Obama offered. The US is nowhere near collapse, even if the currency imploded. People are not ready, nor are they accepting of an anarchistic solution. Anarchy springs from the concerns and minds of young people who bridle at the idea of being controlled and it should be quite evident that the average ages of people everywhere (in terms of demographics) is going up, in other words getting much older. Older people tend to take fewer big risks.
