This is similar to a strategy Ron Paul tried before congress voted to give the bastard Bush single-handed authority to use force in Iraq. Power only a KING would have.
Dr. Paul suggested a Declaration of War and then have congress vote on that.
Dr. Paul wasn't advocating war. But he realized that if the government were forced to declare a war, like they are legally bound to do, then MAYBE the American sheeples might wake up and ask "why would we ever declare war on Iraq?" Or "what did Iraq ever do to us?"
Jesse is saying that if everyone had "skin in the game" they might pressure the rat bastard policy-makers NOT to go to war after war.
Jesse doesn't believe in the draft. He has been against it all along.
He's just using this idea as a tool to try to wake up this idiot-nation. I understand exactly what he's doing here.
I too am totally against a draft. But the lack of it has actually allowed the government to perpetuate endless wars by sending these guys back tour after tour.
And also by sending the National Guard abroad which is utterly criminal.
And since there is no draft, there is no real resistance to wars and occupations.
It's a damned if you do, and damned if you don't situuation.
"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
