Haven't said the pledge to a piece of cloth in decades

When I say the pledge, I say "the Constitution". At our state convention several of us patriots shouted that out in place of "the flag". Even some Romney-tards said we made sense and hadn't thought of it before.

And I don't pledge my allegiance to the deity the Neocons added in 1954, but that is another story.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain
