I voted you up but I disagree.

That is, I think the post deserves SOME attention. It is a sensitive story, clearly narrated, and it does illuminate some useful perspectives for us as we go about our missionary work.

However, I agree emphatically with the bulk of your response. All motives are selfish. The world (as often) is divided into two camps: those who realize this, and those who are kidding themselves.
