The article only pointed out the emasculation of men. But the entire culture has been turned on its head. I believe it is intentional. It is being done through television, Hollywood, the media in general, education system, video games, allopathic medications, toy selections, and food.
I think the critical theory is the backbone to the systematic destruction of our culture.
Women are having to be superwomen, but that is actually empowering to them. Men on the other hand, who have traditionally had the majority of power in all facets of society, are being forced to relinquish it. There is not too many things in life that can be worse on ones psyche than losing your age old role as the provider and decider. So it is a vicious circle.
Granted technology has leveled the playing field for gender, race, and socioeconomic disadvantages though. But there is far more to it than that. All one has to do is watch a couple hours of television to discover it.
