Before "women's lib", the federal government's total take from a typical household was 25%, i.e.

Pre 1960 25% of the breadwinner's (man's?) income.

Post women's "lib", i.e. after 1970, the federal government's take increased FOUR HUNDRED PERCENT:

50% of the man's income + 50% of the woman's income, from 1/4x pre-1960 to 1/2(2x) after 1970.

Through "liberating" women from their traditional roles, the federal government's revenue take increased FOUR HUNDRED PERCENT.
