It would still take an elastic mind for Chomsky to come to realize that there is no good socialism, just as there is no example of government not corrupted by more control and power throughout human history. The alternative proposed in 1776 being the strong limitation of government itself.

We had this for a few years after 1780 I would have really liked to see if the founders were right... We know the alternatives and our current examples are certainly not promoting prosperous free and uplifting societies.

I still hold hope for more progressives to drop the mindful fairytale of "good socialism". IT will be hard for them to see at the lower levels that they are simply tools of the fascists they support whether knowingly or not. My guess is they will have great shock when they find out they are to be controlled as well as soon as their work is done.

“Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the government take care of him better take a closer look at the American Indian.” ― Henry Ford.
